ABOUT DLC

With the depth of 30 years collective expertise, skills and resources embodied in the consultancy, we have the capabilities to successfully undertake - from inception to final delivery - the town-planning and project management aspects of any venture, from large sophisticated multi-disciplinary programs to small community projects. We have successfully dealt with the town-planning requirements of a wide range of projects, including residential, industrial, commercial, business as well as various other developments such as Life Style Estates, Eco Estates, Golf Estates and "Development & Reconstruction and Development Program" (RDP), Master Plans.


DLC Town Plan Services have expanded, resulting in a comprehensive capability of delivering services, not only in Gauteng and in South-Africa, but also into Africa and beyond. Clients range from individuals to large corporations including private landowners, developers, local and regional governments, mining and industrial sector companies.


Within the consultancy, the services rendered include:

RESOURCES

We believe in a holistic approach and the optimum and appropriate use of available resources, from sophisticated computer systems to labour-based techniques, combined as required to achieve the stipulated objectives of each project. A combination of technologies is therefore employed to meet the absolutes of every project and to ensure the successful implementation thereof, regardless of size and complexity, within the time limits and budgetary constraints imposed and to the required quality in terms of materials, labour and workmanship.

SYSTEMS

All our operations are fully computerised and synergy is achieved by integration of the computer-based systems used by the administrative-, technical- and management staff.

All computers are interconnected via Microsoft Ethernet Local Area Network. The office has full access to the World Wide Web with facilities to send and receive e-mail, including drawings and all other documents.

COMPANY STRUCTURE

DLC Town Plan (Pty) Ltd has a personnel component of members that are qualified and registered Town and Regional Planners, Project Managers and Draughtsman. The rest of the staff members are supportive administrative personnel and technicians. The company therefore has the human resources required to ensure efficient and professional town-planning related services.
